JUNCTIONS GATHERINGS

JUNCTIONS GATHERING

His Majesty
We are called out to be a worshiping people.
We are to live life for the praise of His Name, glorifying God in everything our hands find to do.
Let’s gaze upon His Glory. Who He is. What He has done. Let’s stay amazed by Grace.
We have been purchased and positioned by Christ to enjoy reconciled relationship, communion, worship, and peace with God.

We are also kept in the world, being transformed for His Glory.
As the Holy Spirit helps us behold the One who is full of Grace and Truth,
we produce and bear fruit for His Majesty.
John1:14-18 Eph1:11-14 1Cor10:31 2Cor3:18 Matt28:19

Our Maturing
We are disciples of Jesus Christ... not just ‘church goers’.
We are disciplined learners and apprentices,
staying teachable and growing in our ability to teach and make disciples.
The day we stop learning is the day we should stop teaching. He is too Majestic and Mysterious.
So humbly take your daily shower under the Word and eat your daily bread for sustenance.

The Grace that saves you, is the Grace that TRAINS you...to say no...
So make yourself available for TRAINING under Grace as you also begin to train others in Grace.
We can only make disciples if we are one. And if we are one, we will be making disciples.
Eph5:25-27 Titus2:11 Matt28:19-20

The Message
We follow, we are formed, and we fish.
We spend the week in 'reconciliation mode' with a heart for those that God is at work in.
We are Gospel carriers to our nearest, our neighbours, and the nations.
While we are ‘at work’... God is at work!
We keep labouring in seed sowing and watering and praying for people...
but it is God that will bring the growth.
Only He, is mighty to save.

The Gospel is on our lips and there is always a pulpit in our hearts...
we are always ready to give an account for our faith.
We have been given the ministry of RECONCILIATION unto God
(not the ministry of RECRUITMENT unto church).
So we are the saints that do the work of the ministry, and should be able to unpack the Gospel of Grace into its ingredients for those that are searching for God.
This requires us to know Who He is, what He has done, and what we believe.
Matt4:19 2Cor5:18-20

& Mercy
Jesus’ first preach carries a heart for the poor.
Paul is asked to remember the poor as he carries the gospel.
Although this is not the primary mandate or purpose of the church,
it is certainly a most vital one for every heart to be involved in.

Let’s grow our awareness for the poor, the captive, the oppressed, the widow, and the orphan.
It need not be all, but He has made sure that there is always plenty of opportunity to respond well, while we grow in mercy.
Luke4:18-19 Gal2:10 James1:27
